Steve and Pip Olds started Eketahuna Country Meats in 2011 while farming in Eketahuna, They along with their kids James, Izzy and Guy have developed their online butchery and whole milk in glass bottles over the years.

"It seems a natural progression to move into dog tucker" Steve say's "The cost of feeding dogs seems to have got out of control over the last few years and we initially were asked if we would be able to sell some mince as a fundraiser - It's grown a bit since then and we are constantly looking for good sound dog tucker at an affordable price - it shouldn't be as expensive as it is."

After years of dealing with the public in the city Steve is loving getting around the country talking to farmers like he did when he was a stock agent - He's already helped place a few pups from one farm to another.
